IU (아이유) is a South Korean singer-songwriter and actress. She signed with Kakao M (formerly LOEN Entertainment) in 2007 as a trainee and debuted as a singer at the age of fifteen with her first mini album Lost and Found.
Known as "The Nation's Little Sister," IU has established herself as one of the most successful solo artists in the South Korean music industry with numerous chart-topping hits and acting roles in popular dramas like Hotel del Luna and My Mister.
